Peking University School of Continuing Medical Education was inaugurated on May 26, consolidating the former School of Distance Education and Center for On-Job Training into one.

Vice President Duan Liping of Peking University Health Science Center says continuing medical education, together with undergraduate education and graduate education, is a pillar to the education system of PKU Medicine. She encourages the newly established school to embrace a new mindset and broaden its view in consolidating educational resources of PKU Medicine, so as to build a platform for continuing education and life-long learning and provide better services both within and beyond the campus.
