Peking University Sixth Hospital Holds Post-COVID-19 Mental Health Seminar with KCL

At the invitation of King's College London (KCL), Peking University Sixth Hospital (PUSH) launched an online joint seminar in July 6 on strategies of mental health response in a post-COVID-19 era. The seminar featured Prof. Lu Lin, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of the PUSH, and Prof. Kerry Brown, Director of the Lau China Institute at the KCL, among other scholars. It focused its discussions on three topics: mental health-related digital health application, global response, and integrated services.

It is understood that the PUSH and the KCL will leverage on the roles played by China and the UK in global health, explore research and practice of mental health interventions and prevention strategies, and work to relieve COVID-19-induced mental health issues and sociopsychological burdens.
