PKU Faculty Accredit Moscow Medical Academy

  On the invitation of Higher Education Evaluation Center of the Chinese Ministry of Education (HEEC), Prof. Li Haichao of Peking University First Hospital and Prof. Huang Wei of PKU School of Public Health served as assessors in the China-Russia joint accreditation of the programs of clinical medicine and public health at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. The rest of the assessment team consisted of two Russian experts and one Russian student, and Prof. Huang was appointed head of the team.

  The site visit required for accreditation was carried out virtually in October 13-15 because of the pandemic, and the team received acclaim from both the HEEC and the National Centre for Public Accreditation of Russia (NCPA) for their expertise, professionalism, and cosmopolitan mindset.

  Conclusion from this join accreditation would inform students from Asian-Pacific region in their choice of schools, help employers in China and Russia identify competent graduates, and provide credential for graduates to work in other parts of the world.
