On September 16, the University of Manchester formally appointed Professor Huang Chaolan “Honorary Professor”. Professor Huang is the Director of Multiomics Research Center for Precision Medicine at Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences.

　　Professor Huang Chaolan has been devoted to the development of mass spectrometry and the methodological research of proteomics in the basic and clinical scientific research. She identified for the first time in vivo arginized substrate, revealed its biological functions, and thus initiated the research of arginization.

　　The appointment of Professor Huang as the Honorary Professor by the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health will further promote the strategic cooperation in the biomedical field between PKU Health Science Center and the University of Manchester.
