On June 25, the Belt & Road Health Professional Development Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") was established and the 2019 International Symposium on hospital management and humanities exchange was held in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province. Peking University Third Hospital (PUTH) became a member of the Alliance, and President Qiao Jie was appointed Vice-chair of the Alliance.

　　The symposium invited health officials and hospital management experts from countries including Britain, France, the Netherlands and Italy to give special reports on global medical technology cooperation, hospital management specialization, simulated teaching and other medical personnel training topics.

　　At the symposium, representatives from China Macau Heart Association introduced the training of doctors in Portuguese-speaking countries and the experience of cooperation with the Mainland. Experts from relevant hospitals in China have also shared experiences in cooperation and exchange with others such as ASEAN countries. PUTH experts also introduced the 60 years’ rapid development since the founding of the hospital and its cooperation and exchange in medical technology management and hospital management with countries of the Belt & Road in the field of medical quality management.
