On February 15, 2025, a delegation led by Professor Wong Wing-tak, Deputy President and Provost of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU), visited Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC). The two sides had in-depth discussions on further deepening cooperation in relevant fields in the future. At the same time, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Institute of Medical Technology of PKUHSC and the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of HKPU.

　　The Institute of Medical Technology of PKUHSC and the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of HKPU have long maintained a friendly cooperative relationship. The two sides carry out short-term student exchange programs every year, sending students to each other's institutions for internships. The two sides jointly hosted a number of academic activities, including the Second International Symposium on Medical Physics Education, medical physics academic workshops, forums, and a series of programs on the cross-disciplinary innovation and collaboration between young medical and engineering talents from Beijing and Hong Kong. These activities have enhanced the educational exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland, and promoted in-depth integration and communication among students from both regions. The signing of the MOU marks that the two sides will officially embark on in-depth cooperation and exchanges in the field of medical technology, and jointly explore new models for the cultivation of medical technology talents and scientific research innovation.
