Peking University INR International Forum for Young Scholars Held

    

  On June 29, 2024, “Peking University INR International Forum for Young Scholars”, sponsored by Peking University School of Nursing and the Journal- Interdisciplinary Nursing Research (INR), was held at Peking University Yingjie Exchange Center. The theme of this forum is "Collaboration and Innovation; Empowering Nursing Care", focusing on health issues throughout the entire life cycle and anchoring cutting-edge developments in nursing. More than 200 researchers of nursing and other related disciplines from home and abroad attended the forum.

    

  An awarding ceremony was held at the meeting for the winners of the “INR Global Outstanding Young Scholars Award”. A total of 7 winners come from universities and research institutions at home and abroad, covering multiple disciplines including science, medicine, and engineering.

  

  At the academic report session, theme reports were delivered respectively by domestic and foreign experts and scholars in nursing, life science, material engineering, artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields, including Professor Tatiana SADAK from Yale University School of Nursing, Professor Emma STANMORE from Manchester University School of Life Sciences, Professor Wenru WANG from National University of Singapore School of Nursing, Professor Myonghwa PARK from Chungnam National University School of Nursing, and so on. Participants also discussed cutting-edge research in nursing and cross-disciplines.

  

  At the subsequent Forum for Youth Scholars, scholars from multiple countries shared their respective research fields.

  

  This forum provides a platform for communication and cooperation among researchers and young scholars in nursing and related disciplines worldwide, inspiring participants to have unlimited enthusiasm for interdisciplinary nursing research. Peking University School of Nursing and INR will continue to engage in exchanges and cooperation with all parties and promote interdisciplinary integration so as to contribute to the development and innovation of the nursing discipline and give impetus to its high-quality development.
