Wang Weimin elected Vice Chairman of the Western Pacific Association for Medical Education of WFME

Recently, Professor Wang Weimin, Vice President of PKUHSC and Executive Deputy Director of the National Center for Health Professions Education Development, was elected Vice Chairman of the Western Pacific Association for Medical Education (WPAME) of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). This is the second time a Chinese expert has held this position, following Professor Cheng Boji, former Vice President of PKUHSC. This election reflects the recognition of international medical education peers on the development of Chinese medical education, and it also means that Chinese experts of medical education will play an increasingly important role in the international arena.
