On May 13th, Peking University First Hospital (PKUFH) held a grand ceremony for the establishment of the Digital Intelligence Medical Innovation Center and an academic exchange forum themed "Digital Intelligence Integration, Leading Change", marking a solid step for the hospital's research and practice in the field of digital intelligence medicine.

　　At the unveiling ceremony of the Center, Academician Zhan Qimin, Dean of the National Institute of Health Data Science at Peking University (NIHDS-PKU), delivered a speech, stating that the establishment of the Digital Intelligence Medical Innovation Center marks a new starting point for the cooperation between PKUFH and NIHDS-PKU. It is not only a firm recognition of the previous cooperation achievements, but also an indication of further expansion of their cooperation in cutting-edge fields such as big data and artificial intelligence. PKUFH President Yang Yinmo stated that digital intelligence medicine is an important development direction of future health care, and it has become a new quality productivity to promote cost reduction and efficiency improvement in medical services.

　　At the academic exchange forum, renowned scholars from relevant fields both domestically and internationally conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies and hot topics in the field of digital intelligence medicine. Participants present at the meeting expressed that this forum not only provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of cutting-edge technologies and research trends in the field of digital intelligence medicine, but also becomes an important platform for promoting academic exchanges and cooperation. In the future, the Digital Intelligence Medical Innovation Center will closely focus on the practical needs of clinical medicine, take data resources as the cornerstone, promote the scientific governance and value mining of health data through deep interdisciplinary integration, accelerate its application in scientific research and clinical practice, and further stimulate the new momentum of hospital research, injecting a continuous stream of new vitality into medical innovation.
