From May 14th to 16th, 2024, at the invitation of SingHealth, Jin Changxiao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University Third Hospital (PKUTH), led a delegation to Singapore. They visited SingHealth, Singapore Central Hospital, Singapore Changi General Hospital, and the Chinese Embassy in the Republic of Singapore.

　　Symposium at SingHealth

　　The delegation visited SingHealth and met with Wu Weihao, CEO of SingHealth, Chen Xiangqin, Vice President of Singapore Central Hospital and President of Duke National University of Singapore Global Health Research Institute, and President Wang Miaoji and Vice President Chen Liying of Asia Healthcare Leadership and Management Research Institute at Duke-National University of Singapore Global Health Research Institute. At the symposium, the delegation learned about the current status of innovation and transformation management in Singapore and SingHealth, as well as the basic situation of the Asian Healthcare Leadership and Management Research Institute of SingHealth. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on how to combine their own characteristics to promote the establishment of long-term cooperation projects between SingHealth and PKUTH in medical care, nursing, management, and innovation transformation.

　　During the visit, the delegation went to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Singapore to meet with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mr. Cao Zhongming. Mr. Cao fully recognized the contributions made by PKUTH in serving Chinese national strategy and diplomacy in recent years, and stated that this cooperation exploration with SingHealth will inject new vitality into the cooperation between the two countries in the field of health care.
