PKU First Hospital Experts Attend the 20th China-Japan-Korea Pediatric Nephrology Seminar 2024
On April 13, 2024, the 20th China-Japan-Korea Pediatric Nephrology Seminar 2024 was held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China. As an important academic exchange in the field of pediatric nephrology for China, Japan and Korea, the seminar is hosted annually in turn by each of the three countries. With the vigorous promotion of Professor Ding Jie from PKU First Hospital (PKUFH), China has officially participated in in since 2015, which has greatly promoted the extensive international exchange and cooperation of pediatric nephrologists in China and pushed forward the development of pediatric kidney disease in China.
The 20thChina-Japan-Korea Pediatric Nephrology Seminar was chaired by Professor Ding Jie from PKUFH Department of Pediatric Nephrology, and Associate Professor Zhong Xuhui was the executive chairman of the conference. The seminar gathered a total of 182 pediatric kidney experts and scholars from China, Korea, and Japan. Japan and Korea sent 10 children’s kidney representative teams to participate offline. During the full-day session of the meeting, Chinese, Japanese and Korean pediatric nephrologists actively communicated with each other. The on-site discussion was enthusiastic, and the academic atmosphere was active. They jointly analyzed and discussed the latest development and research results of children’s kidney disease.
