Senior Vice President of Technical University of Munich Visits PKUHSC

  

  On April 8, 2024, Juliane Winkelmann, Senior Vice President of Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, led a delegation to Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC).

  

  Qiao Jie, Executive Vice President of PKU and President of PKUHSC, stated that PKUHSC has maintained a close and friendly relationship with TUM for many years, especially in the fields of upper gastrointestinal tumors and sleep, and both sides have a solid foundation for cooperation.  She expressed the hope that the two schools will work together to further promote exchanges and collaboration, and jointly contribute to the cause of human health.

  

  Juliane Winkelmann said that PKUHSC is the most important and close partner of TUM in the field of medicine, and both sides share many common goals for the development of education and research. She is very willing to continue expanding cooperation with PKUHSC to jointly promote global health and well-being.

  

  During the meeting, leaders of relevant departments from PKUHSC had a heated discussion with German guests on future cooperation in joint visiting scholar projects, joint scientific research projects, and so on.

  

  During the visit, Juliane Winkelmann’s delegation visited the National Institute of Health Data Science at Peking University. The delegation also had academic exchanges with experts including Yue Weihua, Vice President of Peking University Sixth Hospital (PKUSH).
