Microsoft Vice Presidents Visit PKUHSC

  

  A Microsoft delegation of senior executives visited Peking University Health Science Center in November 9. In the delegation were Peter Lee, Corporate Vice President of Research and Incubations, Lidong Zhou, Corporate Vice President and Managing Director of Microsoft Research Asia, Ashley Llorens, Vice President and Managing Director at Microsoft Research Outreach, and Lili Qiu, Assistant Managing Director of Microsoft Research Asia.

  

  In her meeting with the executives, President Qiao Jie of PKUHSC said she hopes Microsoft, with enhanced mutual understanding through this visit, would work more closely with her institution in research and education, a call echoed by Peter Lee.

  

  After the meeting, the delegation visited the National Institute of Health Data Science at Peking University, where Peter Lee gave a speech on “The Emergence of Generative AI for Healthcare and Medicine”.
