A delegation of ASEAN-China Center (ACC) led by Director Hadi Tjahjono of Education, Culture and Tourism Division visited Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) in November 7 and met with PKUHSC Vice President Wang Jiadong.

　　The director said the two institutions should work together to promote cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in medical education, strengthen health workforce in the region and enhance human exchanges.

　　In 2019, the PKUHSC, proceeding from its extensive ties with ASEAN medical schools and with support from the Chinese Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ACC, convened China-ASEAN University Consortium on Medicine and Health. In December 2021, Peking University received grant from the Ministry of Science and Technology to build China-ASEAN Science and Technology Cooperation Center for Public Health, which was then launched in April 25, 2023.
