On October 26, 2023, Professors Uğur Şahin and Professor Özlem Türeci, renowned immunologists and co-founders of BioNTech, visited Peking University and had academic exchanges and discussions with leaders and relevant experts from Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) on vaccine research and development.

　　BioNTech is a German vaccine development company that has long been committed to the treatment and prevention of cancer, infectious diseases, and other serious diseases through the development of immunotherapy. This academic exchange mainly focused on important issues related to China and global health, including the prevention, control and treatment of cancer, tuberculosis and other diseases. Both sides also had discussions on jointly promoting relevant collaboration.
