PKUFH Nuclear Medicine Invites Prof. Michael C. Kreissl from Germany for Academic Exchanges
On the morning of September 27th, the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Peking University First Hospital (PKUFH) invited Professor Michael C. Kreissl, director of Nuclear Medicine at University Magdeburg Hospital in Germany, for academic exchanges.
Professor Kreissl attended the daily morning reading activity of PET/CT at Department of Nuclear Medicine at PKUFH, discussing and exchanging ideas on the difficult cases from the previous day. He interpreted the imaging and clinical features of patients, elaborated on the diagnostic approach for similar diseases, and provided opinions on diagnosis. In addition, Professor Kreissl also discussed with everyone the differences in the workflow and clinical diagnosis and treatment pathways of nuclear medicine between China and Germany.
After that, Professor Kreissl delivered a lecture titled "Advances and therapeutics in the treatment of metastatic thyroid cancer & more", introducing and sharing on such topics as metastatic thyroid cancer, novel probe FAPI, and PSMA radionuclide diagnosis and treatment. The experts and students present had a lively and in-depth discussion and interaction with Professor Kreissl.
