Summer Research Institute 2023, co-organized by Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC), Keio University (KEIO), King’s College London (KCL) and Karolinska Institute (KI), was hosted at the campus of the KI in August 14-18. The summer school gathered over 200 faculty members and students from the four organizers and Nordic Doctoral Training in Health Sciences (NorDoc).

　　The program was themed Bioengineering for Planetary Health and featured a two-day lecture series on bioengineering and a three-day NorDoc meeting on infection biology and antimicrobial drugs.

　　The PKUHSC delegation included five students, two professors from School of Pharmacology and School of Basic Medical Sciences, and head of international cooperation.
