On June 8, 2023, the 2023 "Weiming Nursing Knowledge Translation and Implementation International Symposium and JBI gLOCAL Solution Room", with the theme of "Bridging the Gap between Evidence and Practice", co-sponsored by PKU School of Nursing and the Evidence-based Nursing Research Center of Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC), was held in Beijing.

　　The meeting specially invited several well-known experts and scholars from both home and abroad to share their strategies and methods from an international perspective for evidence translation and implementation in the field of nursing, aiming to build an academic exchange platform for researchers and practitioners to jointly explore the use of evidence in practice.

　　Professor Zoe Jordan, Executive Director of JBI Evidence-based Health Care Center in Australia, Professor Joachim Voss, Director of the Nursing Doctoral Program of Case Western Reserve University School of Nursing in the United States, and Professor Yao Xiaomei, Head of Medical Guideline Methodology of Cancer Guide Center in Ontario, Canada, attended the meeting online and delivered relevant theme reports respectively. Scientific researchers, management personnel, clinical backbones, and university teachers and students from all over the country attended the meeting both online and offline. The meeting was fully packed and it was watched thousands of times.

　　After the theme reports, the experts answered various questions raised by the participants, such as the difference between evidence-based practice and implementation of science, the application of evidence summary in translation, review indicators, clinical selection of evidence translation mode, the applicability of intervention programs in clinical practice, and cost-benefit analysis of implementation strategies. Finally, the meeting ended in a strong academic atmosphere.
