In the 48^th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, Prof. Yuan Fusong, deputy director of the digital center at Peking University Hospital of Stomatology, won silver prize for a minimally invasive surgical robot system using femtosecond laser. The event featured more than 1000 inventions from over 40 countries.

　　The winning system replaces manual cutting technique with robot-controlled femtosecond laser, which enables automatic and precise removal of teeth, bone tissue and soft tissue in the oral cavity through minimally invasive procedures.
