PKUHSC Boxin Grant Winners Quadruple in 2022
Eight fresh PhD graduates of the Peking University Health Science Center made to the 2022 list of the National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talent (also known as the Boxin Program), representing a four-fold increase from last year. The list was made public July 1 by the National Postdoctoral Commission and China Postdoctoral Science Fund.
The Boxin Program was an initiative launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Commission in supporting promising young researchers. In alignment with China’s national strategies, the 2022 program selected 400 outstanding PhD graduates, who will continue their research in strategic high-techs and scientific frontiers as postdocs in major research hubs, under the sponsorship from the state.
In recent years, the PKUHSC has reformed its management of postdocs, leading to more appealing posts, increasingly strong teams and excellent research outputs. The postdocs have become the backbone of research and reserve of faculty.
