China's First "Diagnosis and Treatment APP for Difficult Liver Diseases" Online
On the morning of May 3, 2017, the press conference on the launch of expert consultation platform online APP by the clinical thinking training camp for liver diseases was held in Beijing. This APP was jointly developed by Peking University People’s Hospital, Southern Medical University and "Chinese Medical Tribune". This conference marked the official launch of the first domestic APP platform for the diagnosis of difficult liver diseases. The platform will provide various services concerning free, convenient and quick consultation, treatment guidance and referrals by new means of internet communication.
It is reported that in 2015, Peking University People's Hospital, Institute of Liver Disease of Peking University and Liver Disease Center of Southern Medical University, working with "Chinese Medical Tribune", jointly initiated "the clinical thinking training camp ", adopting the method of step by step case analysis and aiming at a nationwide sharing, discussion and analysis of difficult liver diseases so as to help clinical doctors improve their clinical skills and enhance their thinking concerning the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases. The Diagnosis and treatment APP for difficult liver diseases is literally an extension of "the clinical thinking training camp for liver diseases" into the field of mobile Internet applications.
ZHANG Jun, vice president of Peking University People's Hospital attended the press conference. He congratulated the team on the official launch of the online APP and expressed his expectation: The launch of the online diagnosis and treatment APP for difficult liver diseases not only responds well to the call of the government to promote the hierarchical medical system and encourage patients to get treatments from primary hospitals, but also popularizes medical knowledge so as to raise people’s awareness of liver diseases. The official launch of the online APP is of great significance.
