PKU Third Hospital Finishes Medical Security Task at the Testing Event for 2022 Winter Olympics
Specialists from Peking University Third Hospital were on call 24 hours from October 4 to November 21, and accomplished various medical security tasks for the testing event held at the Yanqing competition zone of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
As the nation’s only designated medical security unit that covers all the three competition zones of Beijing, Yanqing, and Zhangjiakou, PKUTH has made full use of its advantages of multi-district conglomeration known as “one body with two wings”, which refers to the main hospital, Yanqing Hospital, and the Chongli Hospital, and built up a safety line of medical security.
Guiding treatment via 5G remote diagnosis center
As the designated medical security unit for the 2022 Winter Olympics, PKUTH Yanqing Hospital carries out all the relevant rescue and treatment work in the newly built Winter Olympics Security Building. The operating room, the interventional catheterization room, the diagnosis room, the emergency room, and the wards are all separated and remain physically isolated, which forms a “closed loop” of a working environment.
A successful operation for the foreigner
The medical security task for the 2022 Winter Olympics is of great importance. The team members have successfully finished the task at the testing event held at the Yanqing competition zone of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
