Mu Rong from PKU Third Hospital Elected Co-Chair of APLAR Education Committee
Recently Professor Mu Rong, Dean of Rheumatology and Immunology Department of Peking University Third Hospital was elected co-chair of the Education Committee of Asia-Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR).
APLAR is the non-profit society organization affiliated to the International League of Associations for Rheumatology and was founded in 1963. It consists of 30 member associations for rheumatology from countries in the Asia-Pacific area. APLAR covers the geographic area from New Zealand in Oceania to Jordan in the Middle East. As one of the most influential organizations in rheumatology, APLAR is dedicated to the publicity in the Asia-Pacific area and the promotion of the development of rheumatology and holds an annual academic congress of rheumatology in this area.
Professor Mu Rong’s election as the co-chair of the Education Committee of APLAR is a recognition of her work, and will help enhance the exchange between our country and PKUTH’s discipline of rheumatology and immunology and peers from abroad.
