From 9 to 10 November, University of Chicago-Peking University’s Second International Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Conference, co-sponsored by Peking University Institute of Sports Medicine and UChicago Department of Sports Medicine, was held at UChicago Center in Beijing. Professor AO Yingfang, Director of Peking University Institute of Sports Medicine, and Professor Sherwin Ho, Director of UChicago Department of Sports Medicine, co-chaired the meeting. The meeting attracted more than 200 people from all over the country.

　　Professor Bruce Reidr, Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Sports Medicine (AJSM) and Professor of Orthopaedics at UChicago, was invited to give a keynote speech. He fully answered the questions concerning the publication of scientific papers and exchanged views with participants on such issues as the registration of clinical trials and the design of clinical studies.
