The 2018 Peking University International Nursing Conference was convened in Beijing in October 20-21. This year’s event featured three keywords – Innovate, Integrate, and Transcend, and was devoted to topics such as global health and nursing, geriatric rehabilitation and nursing, and midwifery and maternal and newborn health. During the two-day conference, Chinese experts of nursing had heated discussions on the academic, policy and clinical fronts of the field with colleagues from the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore.

　　As a special item on the program, a Deans’ Forum was held on the second day of the conference, where deans of over 30 nursing schools around the globe exchanged ideas on the training of nursing professionals. Prof. Shang Shaomei of Peking University School of Nursing attended and Deans’ Forum and delivered a speech.
