President of Peking Unviersity Shougang Hospital GU Jin Chaired and addressed the meeting 

　　On Nov. 18^th , 2017, the annual academic event concerning colorectal cancer --- the 14^th National Conference on Colorectal Cancer was successfully held in Chengdu.

　　More than 1200 experts from across the country and leading experts from Britain, Holland, South Korea, the United States, Germany and China Taiwan made wonderful speeches about the diagnosis and treatment standards of colorectal cancer , the multi-disciplinary treatment (MDT), the latest progress in minimally invasive colorectal surgery and the newest advances in the treatment of colorectal cancer. They also fully exchanged views on recent hot topics (such as minimally invasive surgical techniques, new drug research, translational treatment, early screening of colorectal cancer). At the same time, National Health and Family Planning Commission "Standardization of Diagnosis and Treatment for colorectal cancer in China (2017 edition)" was officially issued at the conference.
