Vice President of King’s College London Visits PKUHSC

  

      On November 8, 2017, Funmi Olonisakin, Vice President of King’s College London (KCL), Tania Lima, Head of KCL International Cooperation, and Kien Bee Ong, (Asian) Program Manager of KCL International Cooperation, visited Peking University Health Science Center. President Zhan Qimin met with the guests.

  Prof Olonisakin expressed her anticipation for the upcoming First Joint Symposium of the PKUHSC-KCL Joint Institute for Medical Research and welcomed President Zhan Qimin and PKUHSC delegation to KCL. It’s known that PKUHSC and KCL signed a memorandum of understanding to establish the PKUHSC-KCL Joint Institute for Medical Research, so as to enhance the two parties’ cooperation in fields including but not limited to tumor, stomatology, cardiovascular diseases, and mental health. At present, the first batch of seven programs is in progress. From Nov 21 till 24, 2017, President Zhan Qimin will lead a delegation to visit KCL and attend the First Joint Symposium of the PKUHSC-KCL Joint Institute for Medical Research.
